With that in mind, The Preserve at Botany Bay performed two extensive archaeological studies before development began, using the data collected to develop conceptual designs that would leave the most sensitive areas untouched and minimize adverse impacts in select site areas. Because of this plan, the ruins of the Botany Bay Plantation will be preserved, serving as an important reminder of the areas unique history.
