Our guiding principle is to create a unique, private community that preserves its tropical setting and maintains the integrity of the natural landscape. We’ve worked hard to tread lightly on the land and create an environmentally sound development plan. From the roads to the residences, everything has been designed to protect the existing site so that its natural beauty, ambiance and character take precedent over the built environment.
All structures planned for The Preserve are reviewed to ensure they meet our four primary design objectives:
- Preserve, protect and enhance the existing landscape, environment and ecology.
- Draw upon historic Caribbean architecture, while closely integrating structures into their environment.
- Prepare structures for climactic conditions including rainfall, sun and wind.
- Maintain and enhance views of the ocean and landscape, while minimizing views to other structures.
